Hi there, I’m Bunmi Biu. I am a Global Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development Consultant and Practitioner with a wealth of experience consulting, teaching, and practicing Strategic Human Resources in North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. I am an adjunct professor in the Master's in HRM program at Georgetown University, where I teach Global HRM, Strategic Management & HR Planning, and advise on research and consulting projects. As the Practice Lead of VR Consulting, I partner with for-profit and non-profit cross-sectoral organizations to design, create, implement, and support customized HR and organizational development solutions.

My approach is different, and so are my results. I believe innovation shouldn't be limited to product development. Employees are the cornerstone of a successful business, and a company's people and HR strategy should reflect that.

With that in mind, I integrate business insights with organizational development strategy to create fresh, human-centered solutions that help businesses accomplish ambitious goals. Sometimes this means addressing complex challenges that immediately threaten a business. Other times it means predicting and proactively resolving future pain points that will sprout after the next growth milestone.

I collaborate with HR departments, C-suite teams, and functional leaders to create data-informed, actionable plans that effectively address their business objectives.

In addition to executive coaching, I also design programs and workshops in the following areas: leadership, strategic HR, governance, and emotional and cultural intelligence (the last one is particularly relevant for companies that are global or aspire to be.)

I am a storyteller, employing data-informed insights to drive my work and develop evidence-based organizational solutions. I hold a First-Class Degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos, an MBA in Finance Bayes Business School, City University London, and a Doctorate in Industrial and Business Studies from the University of Warwick, Coventry.

In addition, I am a certified Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, ACII (England), and a Certified Expert in Micro-Finance, CEMF.
